Do not buy from these scammers

I ordered the eyebrow micro blading pens in April. No news whatsoever about the shipping status after two weeks, so I enquired about it and was told it would take a while, so they offered me a 10% refund, which I took. Fast forward another month and still no news, so I requested a refund and the lady on the live chat just IGNORED my request and said it would get shipped the following Monday. Fast forward ANOTHER MONTH and STILL no news. By this time I had given up and just thought I'd been scammed and left it. I received an email in July saying my order had been shipped out but now haven't received it even a month later. Not sure what's going on with the shipping and DHL but now I'm being told to contact the merchant company, but I'm done with this terrible company. Judging by the other reviews, the products aren't great and arrives in a terrible condition anyway.

Horrible

I purchased a beauty blender at the beginning of August. As of September 15th, this product has still not arrived. I have reached out to customer service many times, and all they state is that they will "try to ship the item as soon as possible" or say they will ship it the next week and have not. I have requested a refund multiple times, and they refuse to refund my $14.95 stating they can only offer store credit as I did not cancel within 48 hours. However, their shipping policy is 2-7 business days, and I still have not received my order. I am still fighting with customer service to get this resolved.

This company is a scam! Please do not purchase from them and take your hard earned money elsewhere.

Do not give this company your money

This is a SCAM. They took my money and never sent me anything. I am currently in the process of disputing with my credit card provider. They only respond by email and keep saying they are sending the product and never did.

Product never delivered, merchant won't refund money, offers store credit

I made my purchase online on October 8th with my HARD EARNED money. I had given them the allotted 2-7 business days. By October 17th, I emailed them requesting a refund because the item was never delivered, and according to tracking, the item was never processed. After requesting a refund, I'm told I have to cancel an order within 48 hours of placing the order. Had I known my order would not be delivered, I would have canceled, but I gave the merchant time to ship the product that never came. The merchant tells me about their 48-hour policy, which is bogus because by the time you realize you've been ripped off, the 48 hours have expired. They only offer me a store credit, essentially forcing me to continue to shop with them and spend my money on their product. I refused because store credit was not used to buy the product, my HARD EARNED money was used. Therefore, it makes total sense for me to want a refund. The merchant has refused to refund and only gives store credit. The BBB has already been notified about their unethical practices. Stay away!

Total rip-off

Rip off company

I ordered a product in early September and the funds were taken from my credit card on the 10th of September. I still haven't received the product. When l contacted them by email I was told the warehouse was behind getting orders out, due to high demand. It is now December and I still haven't received the goods. I have asked for my money back in full, including postage paid, but was told that isn't their police and they would give me a credit. I will never use the credit as I will never shop through them again. I would advise people to not shop with them and for people to let their friends know, as they appear to be a non-trustworthy company.

They scam!

I ordered a curling iron directly from Focallure and it was to be a Christmas present for my daughter. This company immediately took the money from my account and said to expect my package 2-7 days (yeah!). Then I came across this page on complaints against the company, and I instantly knew I wasn’t getting that in time for Christmas. I went into action and started emailing the company to let them know I no longer wanted any subscription to their "Babebox," and I will not be charged for anything in the future. This company, scam artist they are, had the nerve to tell me that I was under contractual obligation to pay for one more "Babebox" and THEN I could cancel. You get that?! I’m under obligation with the company that refuses to send me the item I ordered in the TIMEFRAME that I was promised to receive, but I’m to keep my end of the made-up contractual obligation that I never agreed to. Also, they’ve also promised that you can cancel at ANYTIME, well, anytime they see fit.

Do buy from this company, I assure you there is no product on this earth that is worth the BS you’ll have to go through trying to get the stuff you PAY for. Not to mention they are going to have your credit card information and WILL charge you for future product. This company should be shut down, and the person who replies to this complaint should hang their head way low for working for a company you know rips off unsuspecting consumers, and then reply to emails as if you’re going to resolve their complaint but only to lie and lie more. SHAME ON YOU!

On October 26th, 2018, I decided to try out the "Free First BabeBox" (just pay S&H). I said, "Okay, this is cool. I'll just buy it, try it out, and see if I like it." Now, perhaps I just didn't notice, and I read right over it, but this is a subscription service. I should've known!

Anyways, it says the order will be shipped in 2-7 business days. Okay, I can deal with that. I go on with my life. About two weeks later, I realize that I still haven't received anything from them. Huh. Weird. I go into my email, and I realize not only have I never received a shipment confirmation email, but I never received an order confirmation email either, so I can't even look up my order number since I have no clue what it is. So I contact them. "Here's my information. I never received an email. What's going on?" It took quite a while to receive a response (definitely longer than most other places I've contacted). After approximately three days, I receive the response that most others have received: "We have a lot of orders, so it's taking a while. We'll get it shipped soon." Okay...? I'm alright with that, but maybe you guys should hire more people.

Well, I finally get the shipment confirmation the day after that. Cool! It should show up by the end of November. And it does! It shows up around the end of the month, around November 28th or 29th (I should've kept the emails telling me about this order...). I never even got to use anything in this box, however, as I'm hardly home and have time for beauty care stuff while I'm in school.

And then, on December 3rd, I get an email: "Your order from Focallure Beauty is confirmed!" I've been charged $31.95. Wait, what? I literally just got my box a week ago. I email customer service. "Hey, I really don't want this new order. I'd like to cancel my subscription and cancel this recent order and receive a refund." This email works with all other places. It should work for this store, too, right?

I wait. And wait. And wait. About three days go by, and no email. Maybe they missed my email and it got lost? I send them another, letting them know I emailed them earlier. I wait some more. And finally, a few days over a week later, I receive an email back on December 11th. The customer service representative addresses me with "Let me explain a few things first." Okay, whoa. No need to be so blunt and rude. I know the mistake was on my end. I just want you to complete my request. I let them know this, and they email back the next day with "Your request has been received. Please wait for our notification." Okay... I'll do some more waiting then.

Four days pass before I look at my account again. My most recent order says "Unfulfilled." Cool! Does that mean I'll be getting my refund? I email them. I don't get a response until December 20th. Basically, they say: "We will do our best for you to receive your package as fast as possible." Um...That's not what I asked for at all. I let them know this, and they tell me that they've escalated my request for manager approval. Uh...Okay...

December 21st, I receive an email: "A shipment from your order is on the way!" Great. Nothing got done. But I'm still waiting for my confirmation. I get an email from them the next day. "We can't refund you because the box has been shipped." Really?!

Okay, now I'm really upset.

I send them a lengthy email that tells them the timeframe I gave them to fix the issues, and how nothing got done. I'm angry, but I try to be civilized. I ask if, when I receive my package, I can mark it "Return To Sender" and send it back to them, and then when they confirm they receive it, I can get my refund.

A week goes by before I receive another email. It's an exact copy/paste from the previous email they sent me. Excuse me?! Please stop being robots and fix my problem that I made you guys aware of a month ago! I ignore what they say and ask for a manager or superior to contact me immediately. Five days go by before they email me a copy/paste of their "Let me explain a few things first" email. Great. Now they won't even talk to me. I email them again, once again asking them to fulfill one last request to either connect me with a superior or give me a phone number to contact them on my own time. The last email I received was at 8:30 AM CST, from Kate, a "Happiness Engineer," telling me that my subscription has been canceled and to have a nice day.

I am beyond anger and displeased. I am not even close to happy with the service I've received from this company. I received the box about a week ago, and I still have it sitting on my desk, untouched and unopened, as I am hoping to have this issue resolved for me to send it back. I highly doubt it'll happen, though. In the end, I'll probably throw away the products because I want nothing to do with them, and I don't want to burden my friends with products from such a terrible, inconsistent company.

SCAMMERS - avoid this company

I’ve recently ordered three fibre mascaras from Focallure and somehow got signed up for a free BabeBox that turns out to not be free. As soon as I realised that I’ve inadvertently signed up for the BabeBox that I didn’t want, I followed instructions on their website to cancel my subscription. Like so many others on this page, Kate replied with: Let me explain a few things first...blah blah blah. I immediately replied that I still wanted to cancel the subscription. When I didn’t get a response, I emailed again asking them to confirm my canceled subscription. Still waiting for a response. Surprise surprise...today my account was charged $36.95 for the "free" BabeBox. This is fraudulent and downright robbery. Please avoid this company at all costs!

By the way, the link to unsubscribe from their constant harassing marketing emails doesn’t work either.

Disappointed in www.shopfocallure.com

I was signed up for the "BabeBox" through shopfocallure.com, not only did every one of the subscription boxes come late (I am still waiting for the shipping information for the last box I had coming that was meant to be sent by the 10th of January), when I asked to cancel my subscription, they downright went against what is written on their website, stating if you wished to cancel your subscription you would be charged for the free box. If you canceled after that one, or pay for the second box and receive the second box and then be able to cancel, they turned around and said that I had to pay for another box before I could cancel, otherwise I would still be charged for the free box. I ended up having to screen shot their website as well as my orders to prove I was following the instructions that they had put into place.

When I contact them about why I have not received the last box that I had paid for, they tell me that there are so many orders and my box will be shipped within 2-3 days. I have had the same reply three times now, and each time I wait 5 days to reply back to find out where my shipping information is only to be told it will be sent in 2-3 days. I have asked for a refund and for them to keep the item and they ignore that part of the email and say be patient as it is being shipped soon. They also state that you are receiving over $150.00 worth of product, but you are not. I have not received anything in my boxes that brings the total anywhere near that price.

DO NOT shop through this website, they are not even the official Focallure website!

The people from the official website are lovely and they are more than willing to help.

The people on the shopfocallure.com website are just there to scam people out of their money.

Pre-shipping issues

It's frustrating that they don't tell you that you have to pay full price for the second box. Also, it took 12 days for them to process my order instead of 4, and I got no notice it was delayed. I emailed support to see what was going on (I didn't know if there was a product that was back-ordered) and I was told I was just going to have to wait. The only decent response was when I asked them if I could cancel all of my boxes (including the first month which hadn't shipped yet) to which they basically said no. We'll see if it's worth the hassle when it gets here.

Hate it!

-Kiss Beauty Perfect Highlight Liquid -$1.60 (Aliexpress).

-PHOERA DEW ME rose water priming & setting mist -$5 (eBay).

-Pudaier Dewy Finish - $3.80 (Aliexpress).

-Crystal Collagen Gold Powder Eye Mask(1 pair) -$0.40 (Amazon).

I don't understand, the box doesn't include a single product from the Focallure. That shocks me and I feel the box is not worth the money.

Poor communication, inexistent cancellation follow through

I honestly loved a lipstick I bought from here, but their new subscription service BabeBox and their sub-par cancellation policy are driving me up the walls. I've had to pay for 3 boxes now because I stupidly gave them my debit card details and they won't answer my emails or keep pushing back on their cancellation policy advertising a free box but you can't cancel until after 2nd paid for (which I was okay to do until I got my first box and it was all cheap stuff you can get on AliExpress), then when I tried to cancel after paying for box two, they advised me of their other policy of you not able to cancel after the 20th of month, and now they won't respond to my emails. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Not bad for first box, but is it worth being charged twice before getting anything? We shall see.

On first glance after opening my box, it seems pretty unassuming - not in a negative way of course. Just simple packaging for the products, no need for all the pizzazz. The lip crayon glided on smoothly, but did start to feather after about an hours wear. The brush is super cute and seems to be of good quality bristles. The mascara works well. No clumping. The eyeshadow palette is nice, though two of the colors pretty much disappear on my skin, haha.

That all being said, I ordered the "free" box, then before I even got it, I got charged full price for the next box before I can even decide if I want to continue. So we shall see what the next box holds before I decide to cancel or not.

Scammers, please do not purchase!

This site is stealing another brand's name. They are selling products from Ali Express that are not worth more than $20, when users are paying $29 + shipping. Also, some of the products are previously opened when the arrive. They won't let you cancel either.

Terrible company, here’s their phone number

I have had a HORRIBLE experience with their customer service. Hated the products. Didn’t receive things after being charged, etc. It wasn’t until I threatened FTC and BBB complaints that I finally got my issues resolved. If you’re having trouble with them please call them here: (855) 322-0193.

They claim to be very open to listening to customer complaints. Would love to hear if anyone else gets their issues resolved. I am supposed to receive a refund.

Babelicious!

My first box came with two eyeshadow products, eyeliner, a face serum, and lip collagen masks. I tried using the eyeliner along with the Appeal liquid eyeshadow and collagen. Topped with the serum and my appearance improved aesthetically wise. I felt new like a totally refreshed individual:

Eyeliner was black and added an instant effect to my bland appearance.

The eyeshadow brightened up my eyelids with its glittery effect. I felt fun.

Serum was wonderful, it did make my tired face a bit more lively and glowing.

And finally, just one lip plumper from the pack made my lips feel smooth, soft and a little perked up.

I loved that they sent products I didn’t even know could come in a box like lip masks and fake eyelashes. Also, it’s 100% cruelty-free! The products I got were also nice. Like the under-eye masks. The color of the pallet they sent me works with my eye well and both lippy stuff I have received are exactly the color I would normally go for. I love how soft my lips felt after I used the lip masks.

Such a scam, seriously, SAVE YOUR MONEY!

I received my first BabeBox and it was so pitiful. Two of the five items that I was supposed to receive weren’t in it! Ok, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, mistakes happen all the time right? Well, unfortunately, yes, but finding someone that cared that I paid for a surprise box of five items and only received three proved impossible. I emailed the company and got the generic response about how they care and someone would get back to me. No one ever got back to me until I attempted to cancel the subscription. Even then they would argue about my canceling but not one person ever addressed my problem and reason for wanting to cancel. I finally got the darn thing canceled after numerous emails, many headaches, and much runaround. If these people would have put even half of the effort into doing a quality check on their boxes before they shipped this all could have been avoided and I’d probably still be wasting my money monthly! But no. I ended up having to pay for another box and had to cancel my credit card before this stopped! Save your money and save yourself a lot of headache...do not subscribe!

I received my first BabeBox this week. The products sent were all full-sized, and of good quality. However, I did not like the colors I was sent this month (peaches/oranges). I really liked the collagen-infused lip masks. These are something I never would have thought to buy, but I really enjoy how soft and full they make my lips feel.
