Noom is wonderful

Noom is the first plan that actually works. I've tried all kinds of plans. From cabbage soup to Weight Watchers to SlimGenics. All of them require the customer to take time out of their very busy day, buy their food or simply not sustainable. With Noom, you eat whatever you want, change the way you view food and makes really good sense. Coaches are wonderful too. Love it!

So far so good, retraining appetites and learning new foods is a huge help. With daily learning and group support, there is always something new to consider. Only time will tell, but this could be the change I have been looking for, for many years.

Best program out there.

I love this system. I am accountable to me. I have back up support in my team. My blood sugar is now in the normal range. My blood pressure is normal, and I am off meds. I lost 11 pounds in four weeks. More importantly, I have gained respect and new appreciation if how I can control my health. This is an easy program to work. It is life changing. I don't think I will ever look at food and eating the same way ever again. There is nothing that is forbidden or off limits. I never feel "hungry" or "deprived."

Amazing program that WORKS!

I’ve been using Noom for five weeks and have lost 7 lbs so far. Good, sensible weight loss. No gimmicks or special foods. I eat what I want and they teach you there aren’t "good" and "bad" foods, just ways to eat sensibly and still lose weight. The changes are gradual and you learn the "why’s" of why you eat the way you do and how to change your habits. You have coaches that will support you and help you work on your goals. This program WORKS - and will not have you gaining weight back because of a restricted diet!

I absolutely love this program! It is very doable! It offers the science, the "why" behind everything they suggest which has been soooooo helpful! I found it to be very practical and encouraging. I recommend it to everyone I know! It has helped me have a better outlook on my life as well as lose some of the weight that needs to come off!

Overall positive experience - checking in every day, good psychological information, response of "coaches," sharing of thoughts and encouragement. Like the divisions of foods (a little different from other approaches). Like the link of steps to the cell phone app.

Noom's use of grounded information, coaching, group support, and humor has helped me stay focused and successful. I am learning to look at victories from a variety of sources not just, but including the scale. This is the best I've felt in a long time.

Nice support program, would like a larger recipe/food library.

I've been using Noom for five weeks now and have managed to lose 12lbs already. Overall I'm very satisfied with the program. I love the length, tone, and content of the articles. I also enjoy the support and accountability I get from my coaches and my group. It is definitely helping to re-set my approach to food and teach me better habits.

The only downside is that the food logging database is very small compared to MyFitnessPal. It would behoove you to spend some time bulking up the database, so it is easier to log food. Some foods have strange portion size options, which also makes it difficult to log. I would also appreciate a barcode scanner function that could simply read the nutrition info off a package so that I can enter things more easily. Similarly, I have not used any of the recipes, and the list is fairly small. I'm a pretty good cook, so maybe that is focused more on folks who are just learning to cook healthy meals.

I love you guys so much. I’ve only been a Noomer for a little over a month, but I’m starting to really have a very different relationship with food. I love the psychology, and I look forward to reading the Noom readings every day. I read all of it. I especially like my coach Amy B. as well as my group. I get a lot out of reading all of the posts. I look forward to continuing to learn with Noom.

Great calorie counter

The feature I like the best is the meal logging and calorie counter. Their database of food is extensive so you can get accurate calorie counts. Also, the reminders to log food are good. The guidance on serving sizes and daily weighing-in are helpful. I don't really care about the personal or team coach features, nothing against those folks, but I just don't gravitate to that kind of interaction. They do a good job with making their daily articles informative and fun.

Keeping me focused and accountable!

I started a month ago, have lost 7 pounds, am weighing in every day and eating mindfully (not quite perfectly, but I am thinking about what I am eating). The interesting information, tips and strategies keep me focused and I know I am going to be reminded daily to keep at it! I love that I can do all of it on my iPhone. It is the most practical program I have ever embarked on (and I have tried a good many over the years).
