Noom is very easy to use and navigate your way around the options. The daily challenges and articles are motivating and enable you to keep focused with your goal. You have your own personal online coach who is very easy to talk to with challenges and support. The online group with the support of a group coach is fantastic. It's professional and supportive...you are not alone with people from around the world. This support group is guided by rules to ensure privacy and honesty. I would recommend Noom to family and friends as Noom has an easy to download app so I can log in my food options from my phone. The app also has an inbuilt step counter so everything is convenient and at your fingertips. It's discrete so you can use it anywhere. I love that you don't have to leave home and attend a meeting...it's fantastic and it really does help you work and learn about healthy habits...food and exercise.

It's not a diet. It's a way of life.

Have you ever wondered why you want to eat 1/2 a chocolate cake.? Then you eat 1/2 a chocolate cake. Noom approach is the why. Using psychology, sociology, and activity to work for you.

Helping you to make the decisions to accomplish your weight loss goals, Noom's daily reads help you along the way. Support from a coach and a wonderful group with some great ideas. Sharing your experiences along the road to a more healthful you.

Week 5 and I have lost 14 lbs. I am moving more. I make better choices in what I put in my body, and I even splurged on a wonderful piece of chocolate Birthday Cake. I felt no guilt.

A system that provides structure, education, and sense

In my journey, I have gained knowledge and ideas about my relationship with food, but how to put it together in a workable, cohesive format continued to elude me.

Noom provided the structure, further knowledge, and most importantly a sustainable process for the long term. I had figured out many of the elements, but I didn't have the food groupings and portions organized in an effective manner. This is the structure Noom provided.

There are no special meals or drinks to buy, just regular shopping using the Noom guidelines. The entire process is structured, but is open enough that the user can configure their meals to fit their needs and lifestyle.

Another unique thing about Noom was the approach of not having a list of things you had to give up or couldn't eat. Instead, foods were placed in one of three categories based on nutritional value and the ability to keep you satisfied and full. Green foods (not all were rabbit food - chili with beans for example) were encouraged to make up a large portion of your diet, but Noom realized in the real world, yellow foods would be a larger part of your diet - these are eaten in moderation. The red foods should be eaten in limited portions.

The Noom application helps you identify the various foods, track your calories out of each group, your total calories, and has a large collection of recipes that are workable and fit in the Noom plan.

The daily educational articles have been a big help in understanding what's going on with the process, your emotions, and your body.

If you lack success with your current program, Noom may be able to help you. I started with a free 2-week trial and was pleased with the program, so I've continued on.

Accountability

I started Noom one month ago. I have lost 13 pounds already. Being a senior, that’s a big accomplishment. Being able to log my food has helped me to stay accountable for what I eat every day and weighing in helps keep me motivated.

I've tried diets before so was quite skeptical about trying Noom and even put myself off signing up a few times. With the support of my coach and my group they help me to stick eating well. Noom is not a diet but a change in lifestyle.

I am very pleased with Noom. I appreciate the way the daily articles are written with education and humor. I definitely like that there are reminders for meals and snacks. I generally do not eat a snack, but that reminds me to drink more water. There's also a setting for exercise reminders. I enjoy the daily group messaging and the weekly contact with my goals specialist. Another very special part of Noom is the color coding of food. I have learned a lot about making healthier choices. Noom is not a diet it is an educational tool for a lifestyle change. It really is working for me!

The best part of Noom is that it doesn't overwhelm. Ten minutes of new information, tips, science, psychology and more a day. Enough to keep interested and going strong, not so much it's insurmountable.

Love the tracking system - colors and real-life portions. Could not be easier.

Great support, encouragement, and enthusiasm. This is doable!

I like Noom because it's fun to read the daily posts. It's different from anything else I've tried because it informs me about the process I'm going through and why everything works as it does in the body and mind. I think that's really important to understand how the mind and body works when you're making lifestyle changes. It really helps! I love the psych tricks!

I really like the Noom weight loss/healthy lifestyle program. I like the every day step by step information on curbing appetite on the how and why, etc. I like all the informative information presented each day. I like the one on one coaching. It really helps when a gentle nudge or reminder comes that someone is there for you. I am not much for sharing with a group, but I do enjoy reading the groups struggles which reinforces I am not alone. I like the way the food is color coded which is very helpful in making a conscious effort on healthy choices. I like the coaching to keep active and exercise, etc. This program has been a success for me since I started. I am very glad I am part of the Noom program. It is working great for me. Thank you so much. Hopefully, I will stay the course and keep on my healthy track.

Hopeful and happy

Noom has been a great experience for me. Especially motivating is weighing myself daily, and there’s a graph on Noom that shows my progress. There are a few weight gain days, but overall there’s a downward trend. Also, when I slip up and eat badly, looking at my weight loss graph motivates me to get back on track. In the past, this has been a true struggle for me. I lost 13 lbs the first month. Even if I lose half that in February, I will be so happy!
