Noom has answers to your dieting questions

Being recently widowed, I found myself facing the challenge of feeding myself. I had gained almost 40 lbs since my wife’s passing. I was eating out up to 10 times a week and the pounds were piling on. My neighbors had been very supportive during this time and always joined me in my journey to obesity. Five weeks ago, next door Jodi told me about Noom and how it was working for her. I immediately signed up for the 14-day trial.

Noom has the answers to weight loss questions and challenges, always citing scientific studies and science. Providing a scientific insight has helped me believe in Noom.

I find Noom educating, encouraging and inspiring.

My experience with Noom is that I find it educating, encouraging, and inspiring. I do not feel that I am under any pressure, I can take what is offered or leave it. It is entirely up to me. For many years, the worst time of the year cycle for me to eat healthy and exercise is December until mid-January. In Iceland, this is a very busy time, and our daylight is only a few hours, often with bad weather. So I decided to try my best to follow the program during this time in spite of slips, and although my weight is not going down, I have not experienced any pressure from Noom - only support - otherwise, I would have given up. So now I am optimistic and looking forward to continuing with Noom and to see my good results in coming weeks. Thank you Noom.

Noom keeps you on track!

I have found that Noom has been extremely helpful in understanding the many variables involved in losing weight and helps you deal with all the mind games that impact the process. Works for me

I've found Noom to be just wonderful. So much great information and support. I love the flexibility and that I can log everything so easily on my phone. It's really terrific. I'm in week 5 and I've lost 6kgs. I'm walking around 10000 steps a day and feel so much more energetic and flexible already. I even bought a shirt that was one size smaller today. It's amazing. Noom has made a wonderful difference in my life. Thanks Noom.

Good canned information, personal coaching a joke

The "canned" information is very good, as are the recipes and food logging.

The personal coaching is an entire farce. There is no personal coaching. The personal or "goal" coaches send standard statements. They do not offer suggestions or demonstrate any knowledge of the information Noom asks you to enter into the system. They do not review food logs or exercise logs. Once a week they send you a generic email and reuse the same email every few weeks. I have tried to engage my "goal" coach, but without success. She has responded with a non-canned statement and claims to have read my information, yet still has not provided a suggestion or even a comment about my progress, suggesting she has even reviewed my weight graph or diet log.

The group coach has a slightly higher level of interaction and about once per day appears to read what someone has written and responded to it (these are probably canned).

Essentially, you are paying $30/month for a software application.

There is no coaching.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I love being a Noomer!

I've tried it all! Lost weight and gained it back. I feel confident that Noom will be successful as it's the first program to have psychological health built into the weight loss journey. Finally, someone is talking about food addiction! Good for you Noom Nerds!

It is legit

Six weeks in, and I am down 15 lbs, more importantly, I am feeling healthier and happier than before. Noom is NOT a diet plan; it’s a life-changing plan. Noom does what no other plan has done; it looks into the "why" of what we do and gives answers - real science-based answers! This program is a must for anyone wanting a healthier life.

Noom helps you make better food choices and really think about what you are eating. It doesn't tell you what you can and can't eat, which is what makes it so much different than other diets. I am really excited about Noom.

Pretty good

I have been using Noom for a few weeks. I haven’t lost weight because I made the mistake of signing up right before Christmas. I still find a lot of value in the lessons, goals, and articles every day and I feel empowered to be very successful once the holiday is over.

My only issues so far are the group chats seem useless. Other users don’t participate, so the support and accountability aren’t there for me. Also, it would be helpful if I could categorize the articles by subject in my library. It would also be very nice to have a quick guide for lists of red green and yellow foods.

Love this program

I have always been keen on healthy eating but have not always been good at consistency. The psychology aspect of Noom is what attracted me to it, it seemed a fresh approach. I have found the insights into how and why we lose weight or don't really helpful, and my mindset has changed from the all or nothing approach I took previously to something more sustainable. I spend about 10 minutes a day reading the articles and deciding what I want to do to make it work, which is about right for me.

Noom is it!

I have been through many diets. I really would not call Noom a diet. I would call it a new life. Noom is exactly what I need. It really keeps me mindful of what I am eating and has some really funny ways of keeping me on track with the Noom nerds! They are really very knowledgeable in nutrition and psychology of eating habits. I can with a click see which foods I have to be more mindful of when eating. The great thing is, I can eat what I want and Noom sorts it all out.

This app is by far the easiest out of all the food tracker apps. It keeps track of my food, weight, exercise. It has pop-up reminders for me to enter my meals. It also has restaurant menu foods you can enter quickly! I have a coach, and a group leader. It's fun meeting people trying to meet the same goal. I also am waiting for my Noom DNA to see what that reveals about my weight. I also have it synched up with my Fitbit. But it can synch with other devices as well.

I am here to tell you to try it. It’s like no other, and a snap to use. Before Noom, I was eating 2000+ calories a day! Now I am fully aware of what I am doing wrong and keeping on track very easy with Noom. I am on track to reaching my weight loss goal of 50 lbs! At first, I said naahhhh, this is not going to work, but boy was I wrong! And in this day and age, everyone has their cell phones on hand so this app is impossible to forget to use. Try Noom, and post your review! I will be excited to see you love it as much as I do!
