This Noom will work...

I’ve been with Noom for about a month, and learning the "why" (psychologically) has really been a huge help. Everyone needs to know "why" behind their pitfalls, and even though I’m a physician, I KNOW what to do and HOW to do it, but I couldn’t get past WHY I’d fall backward. This is a total internal journey, which other apps don’t even get into. If you don’t understand your internal/external/stressors, no matter how few calories and how much exercise you do, it is TEMPORARY, but Noom is really helping you take internal control so it can and WILL last!

Lost weight and kept it off during the holidays

I have tried a number of programs, including a Diabetic Diet, Weight Watchers (three times), SlimFast Meal Plan, etc., and when I get to the holidays ( just before Christmas to just after New Years), I always gain everything I previously lost back. Usually 5 to 10 lbs or more.

I started Noom about the last week of November and I was down 7.3 lbs by December 19th. That was great for me! I did gain and then lose up to 3 lbs through the holidays, but with the daily lessons, support of my coach and my group, as of 1/2/19 I only gained back 1 lb. of the 7.3 I lost. That for me is a great accomplishment!

Noom psychology and lessons are awesome. I look forward to each day to see what’s new! Once I tried the 14-day free trial, I had to continue. For the first time in 20 years, I BELIEVE I will reach my goal of a 40 lb loss with the help of this program.

Noom is great

Hey there,

I became interested in Noom because I am an inquiring type of person. The fact that Noom didn’t present itself wrapped in a lot of surface visual glamour and spoke to resetting the way I approach eating and living my life appealed to me.

Since being apart of the program, I respond to the way the team approaches me with lightness and humor, they help me when I have reached out and keep each day interesting. Somehow they are able to really get me to feel better about me.

Glad I made the RIGHT decision! Choosing Noom!

Noom has been a wonderful surprise! I kept seeing their ads and dismissing them, and I thought, what can I lose, with TWO free weeks!

I am in the midst of my sixth week and I am absolutely delighted with their fundamental philosophy: eating should become a choice, not a habit. I have followed their input and have consistently weighed myself, entered my meals and am trying to see the way I behave with food and all that affects the way I approach it.

The results? I have lost twelve pounds already! It has not been difficult at all, because, I think I am learning rather than feeling that I am disciplining myself. The attitude is POSITIVE rather than negative. It is not about what I CAN'T DO but rather, what I CAN DO!

My Coach, Kristi, has been superb - friendly, helpful, affirming and challenging, all with grace, intelligence, and kindness.

Bottom line? I could not be more delighted!

The only portion that I do not choose is the Group Sharing. That concept feels too much like Facebook for fatties. Great if you want that, but even greater that I am not obligated to participate in the group experience.

Caught my attention!

Noom talks about you, not food. Noom says it's okay to be human and stop beating yourself up. Science and head doctors, sorry Noom Nerds, I can joke too, teach you how to cope with changing your life rather than thinking you are going on another worthless diet. Their approach is fresh and you can easily accept accountability by logging your daily weight, and your meals into your phone. Don't cheat what you eat because it's okay. You can fix it tomorrow. I love Noom, and my coach Josephine is the best! She gets me! Start today! Give up one thing! POUNDS! I have lost 14 pounds so far! I hope to see you join us!

I have not only lost weight with Noom, but lowered my cholesterol by 10 points. I completely unprocessed my diet and eat more mindfully than I ever did. I love the daily information and the support from my coach and my group. It’s been a real life changer!

Great new approach

I've been using Noom for about six weeks now. My experience with Noom is so different from other weight loss apps and products. Actually, I don't even like saying weight loss app, it's about so much more than just weight loss. It is a fresh approach to getting healthy and they are doing it in a way that sets you up for a lifetime of success. Six weeks in and I'm still excited about the program, and I'm feeling positive about the things that are happening on the scale and in the way I am eating. I'm not perfect in my eating and health habits but you really don't have to be all the time...they get it, sometimes life doesn't allow us to be perfect. This program makes me think about what I'm going to eat next and how that food will help my body (or not). They use a lot of psychology, and for me, it's a great approach. It's a bit spendy for the program, but I feel like it's worth the education I am getting. Plus you get a goal coach to help you through the process.

A new way to a new you

I was ready for a real transformation - not just losing weight, but changing my relationship with food, exercise and my way of thinking about my health. Noom has fit my needs in a way no other program has because it is leading to systemic change through psychology, science, online social interaction, goal setting, and tremendous daily support. The tasks set for each day are relevant, support habit change and development, clarify perception, and feel practical and reinforcing of a wide variety of personal goals. And all with a sense of humor!

I’ve lost weight, but more importantly, I feel more connected to my health and well-being goals than ever before. Thank you, Noom!

Counselors keep in touch and the program makes you laugh at yourself yet keeps teaching new ideas and techniques.

Loving Noom

I have been using the Noom app for just over a month and am finding it great to use. It’s helping me lose weight, be more active, take a positive approach to mealtimes and how to manage social functions as well.

The articles and information about healthy eating habits and how to make positive changes are to the point and useful. Logging food choices is easy with the bar scanner if the items not in the catalog of food options. The coaching aspect is also useful and professional.

I do wish there was a function to convert some of the recipes into gluten free ones, but otherwise, I love Noom and am really pleased with how it’s working.

Noom is it!

I have been through many diets. I really would not call Noom a diet. I would call it a new life. Noom is exactly what I need. It really keeps me mindful of what I am eating and has some really funny ways of keeping me on track with the Noom nerds! They are really very knowledgeable in nutrition and psychology of eating habits. I can with a click see which foods I have to be more mindful of when eating. The great thing is, I can eat what I want and Noom sorts it all out.

This app is by far the easiest out of all the food tracker apps. It keeps track of my food, weight, exercise. It has pop-up reminders for me to enter my meals. It also has restaurant menu foods you can enter quickly! I have a coach, and a group leader. It's fun meeting people trying to meet the same goal. I also am waiting for my Noom DNA to see what that reveals about my weight. I also have it synched up with my Fitbit. But it can synch with other devices as well.

I am here to tell you to try it. It’s like no other, and a snap to use. Before Noom, I was eating 2000+ calories a day! Now I am fully aware of what I am doing wrong and keeping on track very easy with Noom. I am on track to reaching my weight loss goal of 50 lbs! At first, I said naahhhh, this is not going to work, but boy was I wrong! And in this day and age, everyone has their cell phones on hand so this app is impossible to forget to use. Try Noom, and post your review! I will be excited to see you love it as much as I do!
