The first three times of usage was okay. My last order was in April and May 2017. I gained, to date, 25 pounds back. UNBELIEVABLE. I called GOLO on June 15, 2017, and spoke to a very rude customer service representative named Cassie, who continuously talked over me, sighing on the phone and refused to get me to a supervisor. The conversation ended with Cassie suggesting that I no longer order GOLO.

Absolutely no help. Zero results! Swallowing air is just as effective.
Their "no hassle refund" is a BIG HASSLE!
What can I say? I fell prey to the insulin resistance angle they use in their advertising. I thought, maybe this one is different than all the other diet scams I tried. I was wrong! GOLO, in my experience, is just another high-priced combination of cheap ingredients in a capsule that does NOTHING!

I have been taking GOLO for over two months and have lost no weight at all, nothing. I was hoping this supplement would be the real deal, but no, it is just like all the other products out there; it doesn't work. I'll be asking for my money back.

GOLO Release capsules elevated my blood pressure so high I had to be admitted to the hospital through the ER. I had to stay for two days trying to get my blood pressure down. My Endocrinologist informed me that Rhodiola can significantly raise blood pressure.

I have always been between a size 2 and 6 my entire life and ate food constantly. When I turned 50, out of the blue I just started gaining weight. I gained 20 lbs over a two-year period and could not figure out why. As a matter of fact, I eat a fourth of what I used to eat. Because I do not fit into the normal category of overeaters or people that do not exercise (walk 3-5 miles every day), I decided to try GOLO. I am not sure if this is based on your body type, but I gained 5 pounds while taking this product.

The Release dietary supplement initially put out by GOLO (containing Magnesium 30 mg, Zinc 5 mg, Chromium 70 mcg, and a Proprietary Blend of 405 mg was phenomenal. It was ideal for insulin management and weight loss. I know for I experienced it. I lost a lot of weight and my blood sugar was under control. However, not long ago, they changed the product by SIGNIFICANTLY reducing all the supplement ingredients. It is now a piece of junk. It no longer works. Tried to contact Customer Service about it. No response. The price for the product remains the same for the three-month supply. This means less cost for the company and more profit. No longer does this company seem to care about its customers or effectiveness of their product. It's just about profits. I will no longer purchase their product or recommend them to anyone else as I used to. Food for thought before you consider buying this product. Don't waste your hard-earned money! I recommend you research a competitor for their products. Good luck.

GOLO reformulated our product in June 2017 however, the change actually increased the active ingredients in the proprietary blend and has received much better reviews from our customers. You see, the original supplement was a soft gel that was not vegetarian and it was also rather large and difficult for some to swallow. Based on customer feedback we made the decision to make a smaller, vegetarian pill. In order to do this, the ingredients were switched to powder instead of liquid. When the ingredients are delivered in powdered form, they are actually more concentrated than they are in liquid and this is how we were able to increase the potency in the new capsule that we offer.

Please do not order from GOLO. I wish I could give this zero stars. Never did receive my order it's lost between DHL/USPS. GOLO refuse to refund money even though they can see (tracking) package is lost somewhere. They keep saying the only way they will issue a refund is by returning the package. What freaking package. I don't have one. PLEASE PLEASE DON'T ORDER FROM COMPANY.

Normal delivery time is 3-5 business days once the package has shipped out. According to the tracking it looks as if there was a weather delay and your package took 7 business days to arrive. I bought a 90-day supply and didn't eat any more than usual and in fact, eliminated foods as well as cut back on eating to a degree. I watched the scale and thought I might have lost a pound after a month of using the product as directed. At that point I was skeptical, but continued and was on the verge of calling the GOLO people up to get a refund since I was close to their 60-day cut-off. I misjudged on the date and went past and not surprisingly nothing changed in terms of my weight. In essence I wasted $100 on a product and program that is worthless. I had posted a similar message on GOLO, but they seemingly didn't allow the one-star review.

Been taking the tablets for 2.5 weeks, gained 2 pounds and feel bloated! Very disappointed. I eat a low carbohydrate diet, I lost 15 pounds since last August and I decided to go for another 7 to 10 pounds using GOLO. It didn’t work! I do not recommend GOLO to anyone. Complete waste of money! Having a very difficult time trying to post my review!

I followed the guide and lost 0 ounces, 0 pounds. I contacted support and they said I had to contact them in under 60 days to receive my refund...so lesson learned. I took the pills after a few bites of each meal, suggesting it's some sort of appetite suppressor, I even cut down on portion sizes and ate slower, still no weight loss. Save your money, buy something else.

I started with your plan. Took the pills and even used a low-carb diet. I lost about a pound a week. After stopping the low-carb diet and following your meal plan I was losing nothing! I stopped taking your pill and now I have gained more weight than I lost. It has made it impossible to even lose weight now. I was not on insulin. I just thought it would help me lose. It’s just not for me.

If you were switching from low-carb to the GOLO plan, it could take a bit of time for your body to adjust to a new way of eating so that you could continue your loss. Depending on how extreme a change it was and how long you were doing it, the timeframe for adjustment can vary however, if you stick with it you should see a change and start noticing a loss of about 1-2 lbs per week.
GOLO is designed to be phased out as you reach your goal weight however, in order to maintain your loss you should continue to eat in the balanced way that you learned from GOLO. You won't have to be as strict as you were during your weight loss journey but if you go back to your old ways of eating you will, unfortunately, gain back the weight you lost.

When I did not get my order I emailed customer service and got a reply to contact the USPS. I followed up with a call and the representative explaining that this is not uncommon with the USPS and contacting them would be a waste of time, representative was no help. I would not waste my money on it.

The commercial states that this will curb cravings for sweets, increase metabolic efficiency, assist in hunger control, and that this is the "way to NOT diet." None of those could be further from the truth.
I took this three times a day for months and didn't lose more than 3 lbs. Apparently, there is no way to lose weight unless you actually go on a diet. Possibly, this will assist you but I do not believe that even if you went on a diet while you take this you would lose any more than you would if you just went on the diet alone.
Common sense tells most people that you cannot lose weight without going on a diet and their statement about this helping you lose weight without dieting is just really misleading and untruthful. I should have followed my gut.

I purchased it to help with sugar cravings and snacking. I eat my three meals a day as always but have a big urge to munch on sweets. I can’t bring these foods into my home or I would go nuts. GOLO has done nothing for me.

Ever since starting GOLO, I have had unbelievable horrible hot flashes. Yes, I am following the diet and exercise recommendations. There is a private group on Facebook that they recommend you join to see others' stories and to get advice. I asked if others got hot flashes and if they got better. The moderator posted my question, but then deleted comments and stopped others from commenting.
That is not a good look GOLO! This company seems extremely scammy. Just look at the response others have gotten in the reviews on this page. It's actually quite disgusting. I will be getting my money back because the hot flashes are just not worth it. Especially if hot flashes are very common, but we are not allowed to talk about them or anything negative. Stay far away from this dangerous pill.

I have been on GOLO for a month and when I experienced bad fatigue I tried to taper off but had withdrawal symptoms. I have called 3 times and waited so long I had to hang up. I also have emailed with no response. Some of the ingredients must be like stimulants for that to happen.

The product didn’t do anything for me except mess with my bowel. A common problem is constipation while taking this product. They give a canned response any time someone mentions it and then turn off comments. In fact, they turn off comments a lot if it pertains to something not positive.

When you start any new way of eating or supplement, your body can go through an adjustment period and some people may experience mild detoxing symptoms such as bloating, gas, diarrhea, or constipation. This is usually because your body is not used to the additional protein and/or fiber provided when following the recommended servings in the GOLO Plan. It can also be a reaction to removing processed foods, sugar and/or excess caffeine; it is almost as if your body is rebelling against the good you are trying to do for it. I wouldn’t say that it is common but because many people are simply not used to eating this much fiber, it can happen in the beginning. This is usually temporary until your system adjusts and as said above are generally from the change in diet rather than the Release supplement. Comments are turned off on subjects that might cause other customers to give medical advice because legally we cannot allow that type of information to be shared on our page.

The capsule does nothing. All you were doing is giving a booklet on a diet, which anyone can do. Good thing you’re cheap and it’s only one payment because if this is a subscription that should be a major lawsuit. Can’t believe you were getting away with this. GOLO works if you eat your low cal vegetable diet. I could’ve done that without the pill the pills. A gimmick and I can’t believe you’re not sued.

I haven’t lost anything. I have been eating healthy and I haven’t lost a pound. My tummy is bloated all the time and I’m experiencing hot flashes. Is that normal? I haven’t talked to anyone yet.

I am sorry that you are not seeing the results that you were hoping for. When followed as directed, most customers report seeing results sometime between the 2nd and 4th week. I highly recommend that you contact us so that we can discuss with you in more detail. Without knowing how long you have been on the plan, what you were eating, and a few other factors, it is difficult to know why you have not seen results. Eating healthy is good, but following the instructions listed in the GOLO for Life plan that came with your package is most important.
Commonly, when people are not losing weight, we find that they are simply not eating enough. We have been fooled into thinking that we have to starve to lose weight but this is not true. Eating too little can put your body into starvation mode and further slow your metabolism.
GOLO is not a quick fix, fad diet but rather one that will work to get your metabolism back in balance so that you can lose weight effectively. Depending on how you ate before and past dieting efforts, it may take a bit of time to get everything back into balance before you start seeing results on the scale. But that balance is the key to losing, getting healthy and maintaining long term. Some ways that you know that the plan is starting to work for you is if you have more energy or are sleeping better.
Hot flashes are most common in women before, during and after menopause. There is evidence that they are a result of hormonal changes in the body. According to various studies - obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome and other health problems are thought to increase incidences of hot flashes. As you are losing weight with any program, and your hormones adjust, there is a chance that you might notice a difference in your hot flashes. Most of our customers report that the hot flashes they had before starting GOLO are less frequent or less severe than they were before starting the program. I just saw the GOLO broadcast commercial and had to write a second review. I cannot adequately describe the nausea and stomach pain I suffered on day 3. This is a debilitating product. No smiles, no life-changing experience, no weight loss, and major discomfort.
