Product, return policy and customer service

This Chinese-owned company is a total scam when it comes to returning their ill-fitted, low-end fabric products. Distribution comes from CA but one has to return it to...wait for it...China! Yes, and the cost quoted me to return a $60 item was in the $86 zone. I attempted multiple times via the Net (their call center defaults to a recording and a day later a barely English-speaking rep calls offering zero help) reaching out to StyleWe service reps in China and approached them in a civil fashion re their return policy - no luck. Reach a supervisor - no luck. Get the name of their CEO - no luck. Find the name of the US component that shipped the product - no luck. IOW, if you don't like the product you are hosed. So, as there are many other outlets that will treat you as a valued customer and refund you accordingly - skip this company! Most likely they are affiliated with the ChiCom People's Liberation Army corporate element (which is common) and obviously practices what Communists of the world ever do - ignore you, follow a script, and know because they are in China, one can't do a darn thing about it. Glad I'm American because I sure as heck couldn't get away with a review like this if I were living there. Oh, and what they note as an easy return policy is anything but - it is complete BS. I strongly urge anyone thinking of buying anything from this company to save your money and buy American or anywhere else on this planet. Bottom line: StyleWe is a fraud.

Online SCAM - ordered twice, received nothing

Below "zero" stars - it must be a SCAM.

Placed two orders with online merchant StyleWe.com.

No order processing confirmation. No order tracking information. No order shipment/tracking data.

1/21 - $45.66.

2/1 - $65.43.

They processed through PayPay and took my funds immediately. But has yet to ship anything.

Placed a fraud complaint to PayPal. Placed a fraud complaint to BBB.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Scam company

I’ve never had so bad of an experience. I ordered two dresses on the 17th of March. Now it is May, but I have no dresses, no money. I wrote several times to customer service, but nothing except "Thank you for your patience". It is obvious for me now that they are real crooks and just steal money from people. Stay away from these crooks.

Absolute hoax

Clothes are made with terrible materials. Look beautiful on the web but terrible in real life. Web offers you can return but does not say returns have to be sent to China and with possible duty expenses. Do not buy here, there are plenty of other better options for online shopping.

Mini Dress is my dish!

Beware!

So, I ordered a dress, which was not cheap, and boxed it up for my wife at Christmas. She opened the box on Christmas Day, I picked up the dress and held it for her to see, and she immediately said, “no, that’s just not right for me." I had misjudged whether she would like it. So, I personally take the dress, box it up and send it back. I did not ask for a refund, just store credit. My wife never tried the dress on, or really even held it.

When I inquired about my store credit, here’s what they said: "we cannot give you a refund because your dress has a strong smell of perfume." How insulting. It’s insulting to my intelligence. Can’t they come up with a better reason for such a scheme? I boxed it. And I don’t wear cologne. It absolutely had no “strong“ smell of anything!

Do yourself a favor, and stay away from these people. These kinds of things are the way they make their money. I suppose they will do anything they can to save on shipping costs, either to and from China.

Mixed bag

A friend ordered two leather bags for me (at different times), and I was VERY pleased with the first one; it was exactly as shown. With the second one, the dye/ color looked different, but the quality otherwise was VERY good.

THEN, I ordered (again, through my friend) a LEATHER backpack, and was sent a NYLON backpack! I was simply SHOCKED. The quality of the backpack seems excellent (a lot of zippers, and only time will tell if they are any good/work properly), but it ISN'T LEATHER, although the tag on it even says LEATHER.

StyleWe doesn't seem to HAVE a return policy. If THEY make a mistake or LIE about something, is my only recourse to tell others to beware and NOT shop with them? And, I just ordered four dresses! So, I will find out if their clothes are any good. Americans expect an honorable system.

Don't order from these SCAM artists!

One of the WORST online order experiences! When you order they say you can return, but they don't tell you that you can't return in the US and it has to be shipped to CHINA! My return was going to cost me over $100 all the way to China! My shoe size is 8, and they sent me size 6! And when you tell them that, they say sorry for the confusion and you must ship it back to China. So I donated both of my shoes I ordered from them to a local charity.

Don't WASTE your money or TIME with them! They are HORRIBLE.

Terrible customer service!

I heard of StyleWe from my sister, and she had bought some decent stuff there, so I decided to give it a shot.

Their stuff was absolute crap. The material was terrible, it was see-through, and everything just fit horribly. I asked to send it back, and they gave me a China address, and they said they wouldn't cover the cost. I thought ok, whatever, it was over $500 worth of clothes and I would still get most of my money back. It was literally the worst experience ever.

I returned the clothing, and the Post Office said it would be there in about five days. I kept asking StyleWe customer service what happened to my stuff, and they said they had not received the return. I finally called USPS two months after and they told me that StyleWe had received my return, but would not accept the package. USPS found my package and returned it to me. Meanwhile, I asked StyleWe for a US address, and they gave that to me, telling me I had to pay for it on my own. I returned it, and I have been trying to get them to reimburse me for over $100 worth of shipping because I had to return it twice.

DO NOT shop there! They have terrible customer service and are not worth the time or money. They deserve zero stars.

You won't get a fair refund or exchange if an item is flawed or doesn't fit

I would give them no stars if it were possible. I ordered a dress, it came with part of it not sewn in the back, and the zipper was not installed properly. The dress was also too small. I emailed them no less than four times over two months and sent pictures about the issue. When they did respond, they offered me either 30% store credit or 25% money refund. After I pointed out to them that the proposal was ridiculous, they emailed me this:

"Hi Gail Adams,

You can fix the dress with a local tailor, we'd love to offer you 40% store credit or 35% cash refund, hope you can understand and accept it.

Best regards,

Hope"

I used to order from them all the time, and returns and exchanges were easy. I don't know what happened to them. I will NEVER buy from them again. If you do, please be aware of their new way of doing business and getting a VERY small fraction of your money back even if the item is flawed or damaged or does not fit. You have been warned.

Canceling charges ridiculous!

I placed an order and requested express delivery, but it took them more than three business days to process my request. When I asked to cancel, they said they would have to charge me 15% penalty for canceling my order, and if I wanted to return my item, I would either get a refund and quote: "accept refund in the form of StyleWe store credit, we will apply full amount to your StyleWe account which you can use for future purchase" or "money refund, a 15% cancellation fee will be deducted from orders cancelled after purchase but before shipment. The refund will be credited back to your original payment account within a week."

At time of ordering, there was no notifications of this terms, unless you go directly to the Q&A and read about their policies.

It was my first and last time ordering from them. Do not fall for their scam. They don't care for the customer, all they want is your money!

I ordered multiple sizes of the same dress as I had heard that sizing can be an issue. I returned three dresses via USPS as instructed and was told "They were never received in China." Just as I feared would be the case ordering from them. They offered me a small in-store discount on future purchases.

Customer service nightmare

I ordered three dresses from StyleWe, and it took almost seven weeks to arrive. I tried to cancel the order after six weeks, but they said no as it was already shipped. Once received, the product was very good and sizing as described, but one dress did not quite look like the photo, and I wanted to return it. Read the fine print! Since they are based in China, you have to pay for shipping and customs/duty to return. Not so cool from a customer's standpoint. They offered 15% of purchase price as conciliation. Not good enough. They lost my business.

Very bad experience - caution!

I ordered three dresses and one pair of pants for my daughter. It took more than three weeks to receive my order.

One of the dress ripped at the sleeve, three other items were not nearly as good as advertised, inferior quality.

Long story short, they refused to take back the ripped/defective dress. After more than a dozen correspondents, they let me return the three items, and I had to keep the defective one.

On September 2, 2018, I sent them the three items, and today is October 2, 2018, and I still have not received my refund.

I was wondering if they would keep my money and the three items I returned, if this is the case, this is a scam!

Illegal false advertising - item and return policy

I purchased a beautiful "green" dress after much thought and research for $74 all in. The dress that arrived was blue. I thought it was an error and reached out to StyleWe. I was asked to provide pictures "in natural light" of the dress. I provided three to them - a screenshot of the item as advertised/sold showing a dress with several green shades, a picture of the dress I received outside in sunlight against various shades of green plants/lawn, and a different angle outside of the dress with a green-leafed oak tree and blue sky in the background. The dress is clearly closer to blue (and some of the mid-tones were a perfect match to today's sky). I didn't need or want a blue dress - I have plenty. I would have been happy with nearly "any" shade of green, except drab olive. Even with an olive colored dress, I wouldn't be asking for a full refund since it is a shade of green. This dress does not contain any green.

After providing the pictures of the dress I received, they responded that if they resent the dress, it would be the same shade. My only available option was to return the dress at my cost ($65-$70), and I would be refunded.

Do the math - that would be a refund of net $4 for an item that was falsely advertised, which is expressly illegal in California. I offered to return this dress at their expense, or donate it to charity, as them, not me, and they still refused. I've given them one last chance to respond before I contact both a class action attorney and the CA State Attorney General.

Worst customer service ever!

I always love the dresses on this website, but after experiencing two times hard to file returns, I decided to erase this app. I just bought two dress, one of them has a lot of loose thread, bad quality. I sent the pictures of the problem areas to them and they just tell me they are not damaged, and I still need pay for shipping. I will never ever buy anything from them anymore.

Rude customer representative

I ordered two items together. I was emailed and told one item was out of stock so will be refunded. But there was a discount that was applied to both items. When they refund the one item, they forgot to incorporate the discount.

All I wanted is one explanation. The customer representative replied twice. The first time, she told me "If you do not understand it, please let your family or friend explain it to you." The second time, she told me "No more discussion with any discount."

I did not even ask for a discount. Just tell me why the amount is like that!

Paid for Express Shipping, received the dress over a month later. HORRIBLE customer service.

This site is very scammy. I paid an extra $12 for Express Shipping to get a dress in time for a party. StyleWe said the dress had been delivered, but I never received it. I called/emailed StyleWe and either no one picked up the phone, or I kept getting the same automated email saying my package was delivered. I then filed a missing package claim with DHL and sent the info to StyleWe and magically a week later, the package showed up on my doorstep. So I received the package over a month later and still had to pay for express shipping. This was HORRIBLE customer service and I would not recommend this site.

Worst purchase I've ever made

I could not be more disappointed with this company. I ordered three items and none of them looked like they did online. They were horrible colors, cheaply made, ill-fitting dresses. I decided to keep one because I thought it was ok. It's not what I was hoping for though. I also decided to try to get a refund for the unwearable items. I shipped them back for $60 to China (which is the only way they will take them back). It has been 4 months and I have STILL not received a refund of around $120. This is unacceptable, even from a foreign company. DO NOT BUY from StyleWe!

Order takes too long to ship but overall very happy with purchase

Disappointed

I ordered two dresses from this company, I ordered the size they suggested. For US size 8, they say order XL. Well, the dress was two sizes too big. They say easy returns...not true, not only is this company in China, it will cost you just as much as the item to return it. I had to keep the dress and they only are going to refund me $15.00. Do not order from this company. Dresses look good online, but when you receive them, it's cheaply made and a bad copy...buyer beware! I should have known better...check the BBB.

Say NO to StyleWe

I ordered three coats and one pair of boots from StyleWe. Each item looked nothing like what was advertised online. When I asked for a return label, they sent one for an address in China! I did not send the items there, but to their return address in California at STYLEWE Return Center, 20515 E Walnut Drive N, Walnut, CA 91789. I sent one package via FedEx and the other via USPS (US Postal Service). Although I had to incur the cost to ship, it was worth it because I took pictures of everything before I sent it and had tracking numbers to track both shipments. DO NOT order anything from StyleWe. Items are made in China to fit children or very small people. The quality of goods was poor, too.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Return policy needs improvement

Return policy needs to improve. I had to be granted permission to return a dress that appears quality control was not conducted, ordered a bigger size as instructed and the dress was still too short and too tight. I'm a size 4P and order a 6 and it was still too small.

It has been two weeks and I've called several times and I still cannot be able to download the return label from StyleWe's email and affix it to the package.

On top of all the time spent and wasted, we still get penalized a percent for returning an item, and in addition to paying a service fee for returning it. I personally have never ever experience this type of issue anywhere else.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

After you have mailed back the package, please provide a return tracking number to us, then we will check.

Any unmatched item(s) might result in a loss at the return center.

- Item(s) must be returned with all tags attached, unworn, unwashed, unstained and unperfumed, in the original bag.

If you do not have a return tracking, kindly send us a picture of the return receipt.

Once we have received the return, we will issue a refund per your request.

Where is my order?

I placed an order on 2/01/19...today is 2/14/19 and it is still processing, whatever that means in StyleWe scam world! I have been trying to contact customer service from the app site but when I go to Contact Us it’s just a blank screen! I should have read the numerous negative reviews of this company before ordering. I had no idea they were such a poorly run company or I would never have ordered from them! I would not recommend placing an order from this company to my worst enemy! What a scam!

Normally our delivery time is 2-5 business days of preparing the orders and 7-10 business days of shipping (2 to 3 for express shipping).

Our estimated delivery dates are based on several factors, including the destination address and how quickly we can assemble and prepare your items for shipment.

So there might be a delay if there are some unexpected issues like short in inventory.

Deceiving website

I just received my order today and, oh boy, I was so disappointed!

I ordered a nice looking dress and a pantsuit, however, I have received a cheap material made, not even wearable clothes. Both of them look like child-made, cheap-looking clothes!

There is a "Return/Exchange" option in the specific item. You need to click it to submit the return/exchange request and you will get authorization from us by email with a return resolution.

FYI: Item(s) must NOT be returned to the address on the package you received. We will send a label with our designated return address by email after you submit the return/exchange request online. We do not accept returned item(s) that were sent back by you directly without our authorization and no refund will be issued if customers don't act accordingly.
